December 24, 2010 - 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup bid submitted to Canadian Soccer Association
As directed by HRM Council, Events Nova Scotia has submitted the technical requirements in support of Halifax’s bid to be a host city for the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup, should Canada’s bid be successful.
In order to meet the minimum bid requirements, we have supplied conceptual renderings outlining the potential for a facility. The renderings contain images showing not only how a venue could accommodate the event itself, but also post-event community legacy set-up.
